The local Shops and Pubs all displayed a warm welcome to our visitors and some also displayed an “Artefact” or object which was part of the Village Quiz.
Above is the red, white and blue floral display put together by the Ferry Lane Flower Shop. The artefact which they displayed was an old photograph of their premises from when it was a butcher’s shop.
Goring Hardware deserves special mention as the “Unofficial Best Display”. Unfortunately due to reflections and the inadequacy of the photographers, no suitable photo of their display is available.
